Pop Art Chairs by Fornasetti

Pop art is revived with Fornasetti black lacquer chair. I

mmortalized with Lina Cavalieri’s profile, decency saved with a pink goon mask covering her entire face except her eyes. The chair almost appears to possess a soul.

Fornasetti’s piece is made out of 100% lacquered wood, painted black except for the details on the backrest. The chair stands at 95 centimeters top to bottom, with the seat at 40 centimeters.

Fornasetti is a family-run design business currently headed by the son of the late founder. Their products are a gorgeous mix of pop art and Victorian-style etches.

Beverley Wood has lived on boats in Toronto and Vancouver and in an old hacienda in Mexico. She knows funky when she sees it. She's been writing since she was old enough to pick up a pen and has never shied away from the unusual or the whimsical. Her love of the unique (and sometimes bizarre) led her to Captivatist.
