Cocoon Tree Tent: Luxury Bed in a Tree

This is truly, as the creator says, “the modern version of a cabin in a tree”. How awesome would it be to camp out in one of these lap of luxury beds, suspended high in the canopies of the trees? The Cocoon Tree has a very high quality mattress and custom duvet – and the shell material is totally waterproof.

Three meters (almost 10 ft) high, the Cocoon tree mattress (at over eight feet wide) is more than ample for two – it’s large enough for two adults plus two children. It’s wider than a standard king-size mattress by almost 2 feet! Just imagine the views as you wake up and look out one of the windows (covered with mosquito netting, of course). You’ll be up in the trees and wake up with the songbirds. Can you imagine this cocoon perched in a grove of trees overlooking the ocean? There’s a big back-to-nature appeal in these hanging dome tents and they are living proof that you can camp in luxury. But be forewarned, if you install one in the yard, you’ll have to fight the kids for it pretty much every night!
