Built-In Corner Fireplace Rocks the Room

Cagney Logan Burke (CLB) Architects have another winner with their Butte Compound in Jackson, Wyoming. This natural stone corner fireplace just rocks this whole room!

Can you imagine the serenity in lying on the day bed, looking out the window at nature, all toasty and warm? The snow lightly falling, perhaps a deer comes out of the woods to gaze toward you as you read a juicy mystery novel. Not to mention a glorious bedroom to wake up in! We love how well thought out the furniture is – the combination works perfectly. And the fireplace in the middle of two glass walls is so clever. The fire, and the outdoors, are both focal points. Why not have them both within eyesight at the same time? And how wonderful to have a full on winter view – with the comfort of a roaring fire to keep you warm!
