New for 2010, Patatras by Bihain is a fun solution to book storage – the rolling bookshelves. Is it going to roll around all day or will you be successful in balancing it with some heavy reading? Molded from polypropylene and available in a range of bright colors, these circular bookshelves can be fun additions to your modern interior, literally and figuratively, as they could be “interpreted as wheels of knowledge”, according to the designer. Each shelf or cell is for one book only so “you should be selective about the books”, Bihain recommends. Ha-ha. I like it how some designers take their creations so seriously.
