Cool Corner Shelf by Torafu Architects: Catch Bowl

With the “Catch Bowl”, Torafu Architects of Japan focuses on one thing: shelving for a corner. After all, there are corners in every room (almost without exception).

But not content with one application, they made this bowl so versatile that it can fit on a convex or concave corner. And, to boot, it can be used as a bowl! Such ingenuity!

The Catch Bowl is made of bent plywood, sycamore, stainless and (the secret ingredient) magnets. The grain of the sycamore veneer is preserved, giving this piece a very natural look. Minimalist in design, yet extremely functional. And styled to fit with any decor.

We’ll take two or three!

It’s not just a shelf – it’s a shelf and a bowl!

The minimalist design and natural wood grain fits any decor.
