Unusual Bookcase Designs by h2o Architectes

Unusual bookcase designs become both storage solutions and partitions in this space designed by French h20 Architectes.

They came with a unique idea to increase usability of this small 60 sq.m apartment. Before renovation, the unit was extremely tight, with a 5 sq. meter area allotted for the entrance. The existing walls bore various widths and thickness.

As a solution, the bookcase designs that were built are diverse in dimensions to accommodate the various possessions of the client and are cleverly positioned to separate living spaces.

Predominantly white, the apartment is made alive with dollops of orange, green, gray, and black.

The recessed areas are given the achromatic hues to emphasise the displayed items, and give the pockets sharp character.
